I realized that I haven't made much use of this blog - time and focus seems to be an overwhelming thing to try and tame when there isn't enough of either. Part of my whole studio setup was to sort of do homebrew styled games on the dead but somewhat still active by collectors and retro gaming enthusiasts game console, the Atari Jaguar.
In short, I've made up quite a few work-in-progress games and concepts that I hope to finish up and materialize by the end of the year and into 2019. I've gotten my feet wet and have created an Aurora Borealis-type screen saver and a Jaguar Jukebox, both of which have been released freely on several Atari forums (AtariAge and Atari.IO) - so if you're looking for them to download, that's where you can find them in the Jaguar sub forums.

I decided to come up with an alias or solo band name for any future music that may come from a result of tinkerings with my newly acquired synth goodies I've been collecting over the past year. Being into the geekier side of things regarding computers and tech, I decided to use RISC. Kind of surprised in a way that it hasn't already been used but maybe not so much.
Not sure what direction I was going with on the logo but I really love Signal Noise or James White-styled retro artwork so this is where I ended up at. Hopefully people don't overthink the colors and associate it with Christmas.
Anyways, I've gotten one track down that is very 'Aphex Twin'ish that I'm rather proud of. I'll probably wait until I can come up with exactly 5-6 tracks for the first RISC album. You can hear a snippet of what it sounds like here in a very rough draft form:

Until next time...
